In the last few years, Investissement Québec has set its sights on making sustainable development a reality. Its first action plan, covering the years from 2008 to 2013, laid a solid foundation on which to build a culture of sustainable development for the organization.

The Corporation's  2013-2015 sustainable development action plan (french document) is based on seven of the government's nine sustainable development objectives, which are consistent with its mission, vision and values.

The 2013-2015 action plan is valuable tool that will enable the Corporation to promote responsible investing and sustainable financing, boost its efforts to foster responsible procurement and environmentally friendly behaviours, and support green economy initiatives.

For Investissement Québec, the plan will also provide an opportunity to stake out its corporate position regarding sustainable development, demonstrate its commitment in the community, showcase Québec's cultural identity, achieve synergies with regional actors and contribute to its employees' well-being.
