Eidos-Montréal, a subsidiary of interactive entertainment product publisher Square Enix, has announced the inauguration of a new technology centre in Montréal.

The facility will service all of Square Enix's North American development studios (Eidos-Montréal, Square Enix Montréal and Crystal Dynamics, in California).

Eidos-Montréal's technology experts have built a first-rate co-location facility to provide a wide range of services critical to the company's mission and development, creating new jobs in the Montréal region in the process.

“The new technology centre is just one more example of Square Enix's continued support and confidence in the Montréal area as a centre of excellence,” said Stéphane D'Astous, General Manager, Eidos-Montréal. “Eidos-Montréal is very proud to have driven this important and strategic initiative on behalf of our parent company and its North American studios.”
