Constant Growth in R&D Expenditures

In 2007, research and development expenditures represented more than 2.6% of Québec's GDP, which is higher than the averages for the OECD, G7 and EU countries.

 

More than 1,1 million people (or 1,100,000) in Québec are employed in science and technology occupations.

 

Québec's objective is to invest 3% of GDP in R&D as of 2010.
