“Investing in Greater Montréal was the obvious choice for Adaptive Financial Consulting, as we are pursuing an ambitious expansion strategy to break into the North American market,” said
Marc-Antoine Latour, Director, Technologies Adaptive. “Greater Montréal has everything we need: competitive operating costs, highly skilled workers, and organizations such as Montréal International and Investissement Québec that can provide strategic support. What’s more, as I am from the area, we are very familiar with the Montréal market.”

Technologies Adaptive specializes in e-commerce fintech and provides financial sector companies with bespoke software solutions.

“After attracting video games and special effects companies, Québec is now a prime destination for fintech companies, and that’s not at all surprising. Such innovative companies are looking for top graduates, complementary businesses and an investment-friendly tax environment—and that’s precisely what we can offer them. Adaptive’s investment project will generate considerable spin-offs for the industry and will create high-quality jobs in the city,” said Pierre Gabriel Côté, President and CEO of Investissement Québec.

“The arrival of a top global player such as Technologies Adaptive cements Greater Montréal’s position as an attractive business destination and highlights the soundness of the region’s financial sector, which employs close to 100,000 workers across 3,000 businesses,” added Hubert Bolduc, President and CEO of Montréal International. “The region is becoming increasingly known for its technological development and fintech movement, which help companies rethink business models, access more markets and innovate by developing new products.”
