Cryopak Continues to Grow in Montréal and Moves into a New Manufacturing Facility

With this expansion, the company aims to meet the growing demand for its products, which are used mainly for the shipping and storage of medications, grafts, food and certain electronic parts. “This expansion will help us strengthen our operations for the long term in an extremely competitive environment in terms of both potential clients and strategic talent,” explained Mark Barakat, Site Manager at Cryopak Montréal.

Cryopak’s Canadian subsidiary manufactures most of the cold chain products for the entire group. Its temperature-controlled solutions meet the very stringent quality standards of the pharmaceutical, bio-food and ICT industries.

Personalized support
To carry out its expansion, Cryopak benefited from the support of Investissement Québec’s team of experts dedicated to international subsidiaries active in Québec. They stay in constant touch with the subsidiaries as they grow and provide custom-tailored support every step of the way.

Attractive business environment
The fact that Cryopak has been operating in Montréal since 2002 and has decided to expand here demonstrates the city’s appeal for foreign companies. Montréal offers an attractive business environment, competitive operating costs, an innovative culture and a pool of highly skilled workers.
