Venture Capital: A Successful Event for Investissement Québec
Nearly a hundred people attended a breakfast meeting that Investissement Québec organized on April 1 and that featured Jeffrey Bussgang, a General Partner at Boston-based Flybridge Capital Partners.
Sylvie Pinsonnault, Vice-President of Investment Funds, Business Immigration and Tax Measures at Investissement Québec, invited Bussgang to give Montréal region entrepreneurs and investors a chance to hear one of the top U.S. venture capital specialists.
Bussgang started out as an entrepreneur and now has a thriving career as an investor. He drew on his experience as Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School to offer participants a wealth of valuable advice.
Louis Côté, Vice-Dean of Executive Education and Director General of the Centre Laurent Beaudoin and Business Intelligence Pole, also spoke at the event. He summed up the role of his organization, which strives to educate entrepreneurs about the importance of using business intelligence to ensure their development.
