London-based IOCS is one of the world’s largest developers of software and cloud-based systems for automating financial service contracts. Since it was founded in 2009, the company has focused primarily on the British market. It will now be able to expand into new markets, including in North America, thanks to its new development centre in Montréal.
“As a business we are experiencing hyper-growth and we have chosen to invest in building our global technical team in Montréal,” said Abe Smith, CEO of IOCS. “We chose Québec’s metropolis for the depth of its talent pool, its cost effectiveness, the ease of doing business, its culture and the advantages of the time zone.”
IOCS, which has posted year-on-year growth of 100%, will continue its expansion strategy from its Montréal base, where it plans to hire 115 people in the next three years.
The company also took this opportunity to announce that it will soon change its name to Dealflo.
Founded in 2009 and based in London, IOCS specializes in producing cloud-based platforms to automate processes related to financial agreements. In the last year, it has processed more than $10 billion of financial agreements for financial services.
