50 jobs to be created in 2019

Montréal, April 5, 2019 – Avenue Code, a top IT consulting firm specializing in end-to-end solutions for e-commerce, announces the opening of a subsidiary in Montréal. Headquartered in San Francisco, with delivery offices in Brazil and New York City, the company’s founders did extensive research before deciding on Montréal as the next strategic location to open an office.

“It just made sense,” said Amir Razmara, Avenue Code’s Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer. Razmara hails from Toronto, but was impressed by the quality of tech talent in Montréal. “The combination of Montréal’s culture of innovation, expertise in emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning, and not least, the time zone alignment with our clients on the Eastern seaboard made it the logical choice”.

Avenue Code’s client portfolio is comprised largely of Fortune 100 enterprises in the United States and Brazil, boasting more than a few iconic brands. Ulyana Zilbermints, VP of Business Development, explains: “Today, our biggest objective is to hire the cream of the crop talent that our clients expect. Of course, we are excited to partner with Québec-based businesses to create solutions. And in the short term, we plan to add approximately 50 jobs in Montréal this year as we cultivate a superior team of Avenue Coders to deliver solutions for our clients.”
