"Nexeo Group set its international development strategy in motion with the opening of two offices in Switzerland (2018) and Belgium (2019), and now has its sights on North America. The new Montréal-based subsidiary will underpin the group's growth, with the ambition of supporting North American banking and financial institutions and insurance companies in their transformation projects," explains Antoine Darcet, President of Nexeo Group.

“Capitalizing on our ability to address these topics with both our detailed knowledge of business issues and our proficiency in the technological sphere, we see Canada as a natural challenge to be met, one that offers opportunities for both our consultants and our clients," added Philippe Smolders, Nexeo Group Chief Executive Officer.

Montréal International, Greater Montréal’s economic promotion agency, supported the company in its project. "Montréal is particularly well positioned to take advantage of the digital revolution, with a significant number of start-ups in artificial intelligence and blockchain technology," said Stéphane Paquet, Vice President, Foreign Investment and International Organizations, Montréal International. “Businesses in Québec will now be able to rely on new expertise at the cutting edge of innovation to successfully accomplish their organizational and technological transformation.”

"The digital transformation of the financial industry is a very active sector in Québec and that's why Investissement Québec is happy to have helped convince Nexeo Group to locate in Montréal. This dynamic French company, which specializes in that field, could benefit from the unparalleled advantages our ecosystem offers to develop its North American market," noted Guy LeBlanc, President and Chief Executive Officer of Investissement Québec.
