German Company MAXON to Open a New R&D Centre in Montréal

MAXON, a leading developer of professional 3D software solutions for modeling, painting, animation and rendering, will open a new R&D office in Montréal, with support from Investissement Québec and
Montréal International.

The Montréal team, made up of seasoned software developers with extensive experience in 3D applications, will pursue development of MAXON’s Cinema 4D and BodyPaint 3D software applications for integration into new production and development environments.

This underscores our commitment of achieving optimal integration of Cinema 4D into production pipelines in new and upcoming areas of application. We see great potential for MAXON products and are happy to have such a highly talented and experienced team to help us achieve our future development goals. We are looking for additional talented developers to join our team,” said MAXON CTO and Managing Director Harald Schneider.

MAXON is headquartered in Friedrichsdorf, Germany. The Montréal office will be MAXON’s third office, alongside its other facilities in Newbury Park, California, USA and Bedford, Great Britain. MAXON also maintains competence centres in Paris,Tokyo and Singapore.
