We offer a number of financial solutions to support the development of your business. Here is an overview.

 

ECO-FINANCING

You can obtain a loan or loan guarantee to carry out projects supporting environmentally sound business practices.

 

Renfort

If your business is experiencing temporary difficulties because of the current economic situation, we can offer you a loan guarantee or a loan to improve your working capital or finance the purchase of equipment.

 

SMB Financial

We can provide you with a loan guarantee, i.e. a repayment guarantee on a loan, a line of credit or a letter of credit you obtained from a financial institution. We can also arrange a loan if no other form of financing is possible.

Fiscal Measures

If your corporation carries out specialized activities or if it sets up in a designated region in Québec, it may qualify for a refundable tax credit. To request a tax credit, contact Investissement Québec first to obtain the necessary eligibility certificates and then file an income tax return with Revenu Québec. 

 

Immigrant Investors

We can arrange a non-refundable contribution for an investment project regarding innovation or market development if your business is recommended by a financial intermediary.

 

Group Entrepreneurship

We have a loan or a loan guarantee designed especially for the creation, maintenance, and development of cooperatives, their subsidiaries and non-profit organizations.

 

Capitalization Program

We can grant you a capitalization loan or arrange the purchase of preferred shares if you need equity capital to start up a business in the social economy sector, to maintain it, or to develop its activities.

 

The Strategic Support for Investment Program (PASI)

If your business has a major investment project or would like to develop a new product, we can arrange a loan or loan guarantee.

 

Regional Economic Intervention Fund (FIER)

You can obtain the venture capital you need to start up a company, to expand your activities, a succession or a turnaround.

 

Technology Company Seed Funds

In the 2009-2010 budget, the Québec government announced the creation of technology company seed funds. To provide for the best management teams and best investment strategies, the funds will be attributed through a call for proposals.

 

Assistance program for owners of forestry machinery and haulers of roundwood

The ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune is supporting owners of forestry machinery and haulers of roundwood affected by the crisis in the forest industry, by underwriting a portion of the interest charges on the financing of machinery and equipment. QBIC and QBIC Capitalization

Due to the moratorium in effect since March 30, 2004, these programs have been suspended. The documents below are intended for businesses that are already in the program.
